What we offer and how it works
What courses does SkillsVerse offer? +
SkillsVerse currently offers six AI-powered courses: AI for Data Analysis, AI for Content Creation, AI for Marketing, AI for Digital Presence & Website Development, AI for Leadership & Strategy, and AI for Business Operations. Each course is available through our group cohort programme or as a private 1-on-1 coaching engagement. Organisations can also access any topic through our corporate team training offering.
What is the difference between the group cohort and private 1-on-1 coaching? +
The group cohort is a structured programme where you learn alongside other students in scheduled sessions. It is more affordable, community-driven, and follows a set curriculum timeline. Private 1-on-1 coaching is entirely personalised — sessions are built around your specific goals, schedule, and industry, with three sessions per week and direct access to your instructor throughout the programme. If you need speed, flexibility, and maximum personalisation, 1-on-1 is the better choice.
Do I need any technical background to join a SkillsVerse programme? +
No technical background is required. Our programmes are built for everyday professionals — not developers or IT specialists. If you can use a smartphone, a laptop, and email, you are ready to learn. We meet every student at their current level and build from there. The only requirement is a willingness to learn and apply what you are taught.
How long are the programmes? +
Group cohort programmes typically run for 6 to 8 weeks, with two to three sessions per week. Private 1-on-1 coaching runs for a minimum of 4 weeks with three sessions per week, and can be extended based on your goals. Corporate one-day workshops are completed in a single full day. Multi-week corporate programmes run for 2 to 6 weeks depending on the scope agreed in the proposal.
What AI tools will I learn to use? +
The specific tools covered depend on the course you choose. Across our programmes, students work with tools including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, Canva AI, Notion AI, Google AI tools, and a range of specialised AI platforms relevant to each topic area. All tools covered are currently available and in active professional use — not outdated or theoretical examples.
Will I receive a certificate when I complete a programme? +
Yes. Upon successful completion of any SkillsVerse programme, you will receive a SkillsVerse Certificate of Completion issued digitally to your registered email address. Completion requirements vary by programme but typically include a minimum attendance threshold and submission of assigned practical work. Please note that SkillsVerse certificates are professional credentials and are not government-accredited unless explicitly stated for a specific programme.

How to get started and what it costs
How do I enrol in a SkillsVerse programme? +
You can enrol by visiting our courses page and selecting the programme that matches your goals, or by contacting us directly via WhatsApp or email if you are unsure which programme is right for you. We always recommend speaking with us first so we can point you in the right direction before you commit. Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of payment.
Do you offer payment plans? +
Yes. Payment plan options are available for select programmes. If the full programme fee is not manageable in one payment, reach out to us before enrolling and we will share the available instalment options. Payment plans must be agreed in writing before enrolment is confirmed, and access to programme materials is contingent on maintaining agreed payments.
What is your refund policy? +
For group cohort programmes, a full refund is available if you cancel at least 7 days before the start date. After the programme has started, no refund is available. For private 1-on-1 coaching, a full refund is available before the first session. After the first session, partial refunds may be considered for unused sessions on a case-by-case basis. We strongly encourage all prospective students to speak with us before enrolling to ensure it is the right fit — this avoids the need for refunds entirely. What currencies and payment methods do you accept? +
Prices are quoted in Nigerian Naira (NGN) for Nigeria-based students. International students may be quoted in USD or other currencies by arrangement. We accept bank transfers and other payment methods communicated at the point of enrolment. Contact us directly for payment details and to confirm available options for your location.
Delivery & Schedule
How and where training is delivered
Are your programmes available online? +
Yes. All SkillsVerse programmes are available online via video conferencing, making them accessible to students anywhere in Nigeria and internationally. We also offer in-person delivery in Lagos and across Nigeria, as well as hybrid delivery combining in-person and online participation for teams in different locations.
Can I join from outside Nigeria? +
Yes. We have trained students across Nigeria, Ghana, and South Sudan, and our online programmes are open to students anywhere in the world. If you are outside Nigeria, contact us to confirm payment options available in your location and to discuss scheduling across different time zones.
What happens if I miss a session? +
For group cohort programmes, session recordings are provided where technically possible, allowing you to review missed sessions at your own pace. However, consistent attendance is strongly encouraged as the hands-on nature of the training means live participation produces significantly better outcomes. For private 1-on-1 coaching, missed sessions must be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice — sessions cancelled with less notice may be forfeited.
What equipment or software do I need? +
You need a laptop or desktop computer with a reliable internet connection, a functioning webcam and microphone, and access to a video conferencing platform (typically Zoom or Google Meet — details provided at enrolment). Most AI tools used during training have free tiers sufficient for the programme. Where paid tools are required, this will be communicated clearly in advance.
Corporate Training
Training for teams and organisations
How does the corporate training process work? +
The process begins with a free 30-minute consultation call where we learn about your organisation, your team, and your training goals. Within 48 hours of that call, we deliver a full written proposal outlining the recommended programme structure, timeline, delivery format, and investment. Once approved and the deposit is received, we handle all curriculum design and delivery preparation. Training begins on the agreed date.
What is the minimum team size for corporate training? +
We have trained teams as small as 5 people and as large as 80+. For very large groups, we recommend splitting into cohorts to maintain training quality and ensure every participant gets the hands-on attention the training requires. We will advise on the optimal structure for your team size during the consultation call.
Do you offer NGO and government pricing? +
Yes. We understand that NGOs and public sector organisations operate under budget constraints and procurement cycles that differ from the private sector. Adjusted pricing is available for qualifying organisations. Please mention your organisation type during the consultation call and we will work with your specific requirements.
Can you train teams in different departments on different topics at the same time? +
Yes. For larger organisations we design parallel tracks tailored to each department's specific needs — for example, a data analysis track for your analytics team running alongside a content and marketing track for your communications team, with a separate leadership track for management. All can run on the same schedule and be coordinated as one unified engagement.
What does the organisation receive at the end of training? +
Every participant receives a SkillsVerse Certificate of Completion. Your management team receives a full post-training report covering skills covered, participant progress, observations, and recommended next steps for sustaining AI adoption within the organisation. For multi-week programmes, session recordings are also provided to the organisation for internal reference.
